Libertarian

Libertarians follow a political philosophy that holds that individuals should be free to do as they like with their lives and their property without interference from other individuals or from the government. A libertarian might believe, for instance, that there should be no regulations governing gun ownership or no public funding of highways. Libertarians typically are fiscally {conservative} and socially {liberal}. Libertarians are sometimes called classical liberals.

Founded in 1971, the Libertarian Party supports non-intervention foreign policy, free trade and a free-market economy. The party claims to be the “third largest political party in the United States.”
